Daddy's Home

Matt returned home New Year's Eve. It was a wonderful to have time to be a family with nothing scheduled. The kids loved having Matt home. Their jungle gym was home. Plus another warm lap to snuggle on was back.

Stephen was especially happy to have Matt home. It was good for him to have another man in the house. He was definitely a happier child and more at peace. It was so nice to see the change.

Eleanor loved to have someone to be rambunctious that was bigger than her. Then all the hugs she received put a permanent grin on her face.

It was so wonderful to have Matt home after 6 months. I am so thankful that the transition back to a family of 4 was so seamless this time. There is always some uncertainty when the change happens. Prayers were answered! Hopefully we don't have to do this too many more times, but I pray that it is this good in the future.
