Potty training started in our house in January. Eleanor decided she wanted to use the potty, as a place to sit. It was not a place to pee or poop in the beginning. She thought it was fun to sit there. I wasn't pushing it too much because we had a looming trip to CA to get through first. Funny enough, that was the excuse I used for Stephen two years before.
She could sit on the potty for the long time. It truly entertained us. On this particular day, she got cold and needed the cozy blanket. Of course the blanket is so cozy, she didn't want to get up. And of course she needs entertainment while sitting. Fortunately, dad and big brother are around for that, plus a magazine, toys, and a drink.
Someday she is going to kill me for publishing this, but her first time pooping on the potty was truly memorable (Jan 16). After sitting there for a while, she got up and pointed. We of course got truly excited for her. Hilarious that it wasn't even as big as the treat she got for doing it!
