One beautiful Saturday morning, we decided to put on the backpacks and take a hike. Abour 10 minutes from our house is a gorgeous place to take a hike - the south fork of the Eagle River. There were hardly any people out, but the sun sure was shining and the wind non-existent. Stephen hiked the whole way (over 45 minutes)!! Matt has the kid carrier on his back, just in case, but it was never used. I can't wait for next year when we can go further with him.
