Our first discovery at Great-gram's was the tomato garden at Uncle John and Aunt Kathy's house across the street. Stephen was a bit leary of trying the tomatoes at first, then he couldn't stop eating them. It was a lot of fun to help out and get tomatoes and carry them back to Aunt Kathy for dinner.
What trip to Alameda would be complete without a family gathering. Thanks Gram, Aunt Kathy, and Uncle John for opening your home to everyone. Sorry, Barbara that we didn't get any great pictures of you. It is always fun seeing everyone and catching up.
Here is Aunt Barb and Uncle Glenn with the kids:
Aunt Kathy was practicing her Grandma skills on our older kids. Her grandchild is 3 months. Eleanor took to Aunt Kathy so fast. She hasn't been that warm towards an adult, ever!
Great-grandma Wolf spending time with the great-grandkids. It was great to see her and see how much Stephen enjoyed spending time with her.
Grandma playing Wii bowling! There is proof. Check out that style.
Grandma, Sugarbear, and the kids!
Alameda used to be a big Naval Air Station and docking place for lots of the naval ships. It is since been BRAC'ed, but there is a museum there of the USS Hornet. It was one of the first Naval Aircraft Carriers. It served in WWII in the Pacific and recovered Apollo 11 and 12 crews. We decided to take a tour with Stephen.
What a view! San Francisco behind us!
(Eleanor was napping.)
