A couple of weeks ago, we got out our bikes for the first time after the move.  Both of them were super excited to go on a ride. As Matt and I worked to get the bikes together, the kids enjoyed leaping from a retaining wall in our yard.  Eleanor definitely took the most of the opportunity to jump.

Stephen joined in and they were off to see who could jump the highest, farthest, shortest, etc.

The kids enjoyed the tag-along bike so much in Banff that we decided to take the plunge and purchase one.   In true Wolf fashion, it had to be on sale first.  Thankfully, the annual Labor Day sale came at the right time!!  And thankfully, my wonderful husband suggested that I call the store to see if there were any in stock.  Luckily, they had one.  I was able to purchase it over the phone and Matt picked it up for us.

The tag-along takes care of one of the kids, but one of them would be relegated to the trailer.  That would not go over well.  A huge blessing came in the form of a second tag-along bike!  We were able to trade a display case for a recumbent tag-along for Eleanor.  We are now ready for family bike rides!

Matt and I quickly realized that my bike needed more help than we could give it.  So we threw in the towel and hooked up one tag-along to Matt's bike.  He took both kids on a spin around the neighborhood.  They had a blast!  I see a new bike in my future and then all 4 of us can ride together.  Looking forward to some great family rides this fall!

Both kids humored me while waiting to ride.  They were so cute that day and in great moods.  Looking at the pictures makes me realize how much they grew up over the summer!
