State Fair

Time for the fair! First off was the acrobatic horse show. Both kids enjoyed watching the men and women jump on and off the horses. Next up was the roosters, Stephen heard the roosters during the show and wanted to go see them. In that building we saw the roosters, bunnies, geese, and ducks. Then we ran into the produce on steroids. This years cabbage weighed 127 lbs and the pumpkin was 574 lb. Holy cow! It was incredible to see how big these vegetables were. A trip to the fair would not be complete without a trip to the Lumberjack show. We snacked while we watched the show. Mommy had some tamales and the rest had ice cream. The noise was a little loud for Eleanor. Gramma came through though and held her ears. The final stops were onto to see our friends entries. Sylvia won a first place. Sandy won best in show with Connor's picture in the cabbage. One last picture on the way out to prove that we were all there!
