Our dear friends Sandy and Bob came over for dinner last night. After dinner, we started to decorate gingerbread houses and trains. We quickly realized that it would be easier to assemble the structures last night and decorate at a later time. What a great idea Sandy! Now we'll wait and see how long it takes us to get them decorated.
Sandy and Stephen took over the choo-choo train making. Sandy is an expert on these. Stephen was so into the train making. Everything had to look just like the picture for him. Sandy has so much patience and had just as much fun at Stephen. (The photos from the evening were taken by Bob!)
Bob was the project manager of the gingerbread house. He ensured that I followed the directions and had all of the joints well iced in. Thank you for catching the leaning wall! Eleanor was my assistant. She helped every chance she got, especially when it came to eating icing. That is where she hit it out of the park!
Eleanor took full advantage of so many adults around. She got horsey rides from Papa. And then flips from mom. The entire time smiling and laughing.
