BRRRRR!

No end in sight to our record (if it isn't a record it should be) low temperatures. I snapped this picture before our outside thermometer stopped working. We realized that it doesn't record under -21 degrees fahrenheit. Needless to say the thermometer at our house hasn't displayed a temperature for over a week, until today - 20! Making progress!
My parents in Texas were 82 last week - that is 100 degrees difference! Dennis left here and returned to 60 degree weather, at least an 80 degree difference.

You are thinking, "What do you do when it is so cold?" Spend a lot of time inside playing with new toys and games. Read a lot of books. Cook yummy dinners. And . . .
. . . if you look closely, go out for ice cream in -15 degree weather. Yes, we are a little crazy, but the look of joy on Stephen and Eleanor's face with yummy ice cream in their tummys is so worth it. I was pretty happy too.
