Sun, Surf, and Family

Our trip to CA began with a wonderful trip to Sea World. All the Wolf's were able to make the day trip. With two grandparents, four parents, three grandkids, three strollers, and plenty of snacks in tow, we were off. For us Alaskans, the weather was phenomenal and might I say perfect. It was in the 80's and sunny. Stephen is now in love with Shamu. Every orca whale is Shamu. We enjoyed touching star fish, seeing the exhibits, watching the shows, and the brothers enjoyed the free tastes of beer.

While Matt and I were in San Diego, my parents flew in to spend time with the kids and Matt's parents, then of course us. They are the greatest for taking time out of their schedule to come visit us. It was the first time my dad got to meet Eleanor. Thank you John and Debby for hosting my parents! So when we returned, it was family fun. We enjoyed going to the park, relaxing, talking, playing outside, and spending time together.

It was fun to see my kids in shorts and T-shirts, not all layered up. Stephen loved the park and the backyard with baseball, pool, and sprinkler. We had to bathe everyday because he got so sweaty and dirty. It was great to see everyone having so much fun playing together.

We were able to take the kids to the beach with both sets of grandparents. After a wonderful brunch, we headed down to the sand for some fun. Stephen was a bit unsure at first, but then got into it. We captured some awesome pictures while playing. See another post for all of those pictures.

Spending time with Matt's brother (Andy) and his family is always fun. Here are some great pictures of Amberley and Abby and Andy with us.
