Happy Easter!!

Stephen's New Ball . . .
No, it wasn't a plastic egg. No, it wasn't a toy in his easter basket. But, it was an egg yolk! We shelled the hard boiled eggs and made a yummy egg salad. Stephen helped me and when he got to the yolk, bonus! Something to throw, after of course he took a bite. He was so excited to have a new "ball," that tasted "Yucky!" It was so funny. He didn't understand why he couldn't play with this round object like a ball.

The yolk as a ball is just part of the newest in development in our home. He is initiating actions, such as high-five, and asking questions? Not at the why stage yet thought, thankfully. It seems like we turn around and his vocabulary and understanding has jumped by leaps daily. So much fun right now. He even had a full conversation with Matt while he was in Texas on the phone. It is awesome to be able to carry on a conversation with Stephen.

Ellie continues to be a joy. She is enamored with Stephen. He makes her smile and giggle all the time. She can just hear his voice and smile. So sweet! She was so cute at church this morning all dressed up. Thanks mom for the awesome dress!!!
