Reading Time

From May 2010 . . .

We spent a beautiful May Saturday at the kick-off for the Anchorage Public Library summer reading program. To be honest, we went to see Erica since she was volunteering at the event for the Imagination Library. It is a great reading program funded by Dolly Parton that provides book to kids monthly until the age of 5. We got the kids signed up and enjoyed all of the displays.

That evening, the kids and I read "The Little Engine That Could" for the fourth or fifth time that day. It was so much fun to be snuggled up with the kids reading a book. Another great use for our spare mattress!
