The kids and I took our second trip to the zoo with Brian and Erica. We headed out in April as the last of the snow was melting. The kids were determined to show them around the zoo and their favorite animals. Stephen knew to get a map right off the bat so he could lead the way. It was so cute. He has been there enough that he does know which way to go without a map.
A trip to the zoo is not complete without popcorn now. The smell permeates the entrance to the zoo. The kids always ask to get some. I was feeling indulgent this day. Eleanor is very intent with her popcorn. The bad doesn't leave her hands until she is all done eating.
The day was so nice, a little chilly, but super sunny. All of the animals were out and about. The polar bears looked like they were having the most fun to me - sun bathing. The wolves were playing with the last bit of ice and snow and the brown bear was stretching his legs after a long winter nap.
